Samsung is such a cool company. Sony may have the chic, but who else could come up with this little gem. The SP-P300ME is Samsungs new pal-sized pocket projector, costs just £499 ($889), and is available soon.
Featuring a Carl Zeiss lens and weighing under 660g, Samsungs SP-P300ME is one of the smallest and brightest DLP LED mobile projectors on the market. Promising high performance, superior style and superb mobility, the SP-P300ME looks set to be the perfect business travel partner.
Despite its size, Samsungs SP-P300ME boasts an impressive battery life of 2.5 hours, 25 ANSI Lumen brightness (
hardly a home cinema projector - Ed!), 1000:1 contrast ratio and 25dB fan noise. Designed to meet the needs of the business and home user, the SP-P300ME will also likely become the ultimate fashion gadget for gaming enthusiasts and design-driven business users.
Weighing under 660g and with dimensions of 127x93x50mm, Samsungs SP-P300ME is one of the smallest projectors on the market. Featuring a special connecting cable and D-sub (PC), AV input, the SP-P300ME also offers relatively complete connectivity for a variety of devices. The downside is that it has a native resolution of just 800x600 pixels.
Although such prices will clearly be set by those companies which will sell direct to the end customers, the SP-P300ME is expected to retail in the region of £499 and will be available in the UK from March.
