Shuttle XPC ST20G5, ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Goes Small

Shuttle continues to fill out its lineup of K8 PCI Express (PCIe) small form-factor (SFF) PCs with the introduction of the XPC ST20G5. The barebone XPC ST20G5 is the first SFF PC based on ATI's Xpress 200 chipset, whose integrated graphics are based on the Radeon X300 core. The GPU will appeal to gamers in particular, because it supports DirectX 9.0, vertex shader 2.0 and pixel shader 2.0. Another key feature of ATI's part is that it supports multiple displays - Shuttle has included both DVI and VGA outputs, so two monitors can be used. The XPC ST20G5 also includes one PCIe x16 slot, and if a PCIe graphics card is added, a third display can also be used. Additional features include integrated Gigabit Ethernet, two FireWire 400 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, 8-channel audio with SPDIF digital I/O and Serial ATA with RAID (0, 1, JBOD) support. The product will complement Shuttle's recently introduced K8 PCIe XPC SN25P, which is based on nVidia's nForce4 chip.
