This potent 'Little Brother' in the Carrara product family is pitched at new 3D enthusiasts. This latest addition to the Carrara animation, modelling and rendering software family (also comprises Bryce, Amapi and Mimic) capitalises on the research and development poured into its more advanced siblings, yet offers a very appealing entry-level price.

Carrara 3D Basics 2 delivers updated scene wizards and manipulators, an improved interface and enhanced nature modelling tools including a terrain editor, realistic sky simulator and tree modeller. It is compatible with Eovia's latest plug-ins including TransPoser 2 and VectorStyle 2, and takes advantage of OpenGL graphics boards such as the nVidia GeForce line.
