Thermaltake Eclipse DV Case

Thermaltake Technologies, a manufacturer of computer components and accessories, has redefined its ThermalRock line of mid-tower Eclipse Series cases.

Sporting a patented design, the Eclipse DV Series now has a built-in CD-RW/DVD ROM combo drive. This chic all-aluminium PC case with slim DVD combo is jammed pack with many great features and benefits, but it’s most interesting feature is definitely the built-in optical drive.

The Eclipse DV (210x500x480mm, 7.55kg) features a classy aluminium design. Mounted on the front bezel is a sound level indicator with LEDs to illuminate the case while flashing to the beat of music. Not only does the Eclipse DV come in metallic silver or silky black but also features an optional modish window for users to flaunt the system’s internal components.

This addition accommodates 11 drive bays for utmost expandability, tool-free sliders for the four 5.25-inch drive bays, two 3.5-inch slide-in cage for quick and easy installation and screw-less interface card slots. The other five 3.5-inch drive bays are located internally inside the chassis.

Positioned on the side panel are easy access to USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, and audio jacks for simple multimedia device connections. For maximum security, the front and side panel comes with locks. The Eclipse DV has EMI clips and retractable foot stands.

The Eclipse DV also emphasises a host of ultra-quiet sophistication, including dual 120mm silent fans located in the front and rear of the chassis for better ventilation. Additionally, there is a special vent in the front for better HDD cooling.

The chassis does not consist of a power supply in order for you to have full control over system modifications. The Eclipse DV is compatible with all Micro ATX to Standard ATX form factor motherboards.

More details about the case can be found here.
