Evesham Technology has unveiled its new high-end HD Ready 32-inch LCD TV.

The new Widescreen V32EMRO-ZE3 introduces the latest in LCD technology offering HDMI connectivity, an impressive refresh rate, virtual surround sound technology and a wider viewing angle.

Although it’s HD ready (720p/1080i), there’s no support for the ultimate HD resolution - 1080p. Nevertheless, for £750 it’s pretty good value if you don’t mind the brand name in your living room.

The new LCD TV sports decent looks thanks to its sculpted alloy stand, which should sit nicely in the modern home. The V23EMRO-ZE3 is also relatively future proof thanks to the inclusion of a HDMI digital connection, otherwise known as the new digital SCART. HDMI provides high-end plug-and-play connectivity for HDTV receivers, DVD players and future games consoles.

A relatively wide viewing angle of 176 degrees should give a good view wherever you are in the room and a high contrast and bright screen promises a sharp, bright and rich image. Combined with a super fast 8ms refresh rate for smooth picture imaging, the V32EMRO-ZE3 is one of the fastest LCD TVs currently on the market.

Hooked up to a PC, the Picture in Picture (PIP) function cleverly allows multiple viewing screens to be open at the same time. So, for instance, you can watch more than one TV programme, keep an eye on the news while watching a DVD or alternatively watch TV while working on e-mails, surfing the Internet or working on office documents.
