PNY Technologies Bolsters nVidia Range

PNY Technologies has launched a range of graphics cards based on nVidia’s latest raft of high-end solutions.

The GeForce 7600GT, 7900GT and 7900GTX graphics cards offer full-throttle graphics performance based on nVidia’s top-end GeForce 7 Series graphics processing units.

The PNY GeForce 7600GT delivers high frame rates and top-end image quality, the PNY GeForce 7900GT is targeted at mid to high-end users, while the top-of-the-line PNY GeForce 7900GTX is targeted at the extreme performance market.

‘With Shader Model 3.0, High Dynamic-Range and Scalable Link Interface from nVidia, the PNY 7600 GT, 7900GT and 7900GTX are the most powerful cards we’ve tested to date at this level of price’ said Jonathan Filleau, PNY Technologies Product Manager for consumer graphics cards.

‘Gamers no longer have to choose between blazing frame rates and the highest image quality. Without sacrificing any processing power, these cards deliver a combination of new features and a completely redesigned architecture for extreme gaming performance.’

If you’re not up to speed with the differences between the nVidia parts, here you go:
The GeForce 7600 GT has a 128-bit memory interface, 22.4GB/s memory bandwidth, 6.7 billion pixels-per-second fill rate, 700 vertices-per-second, 12 pixels per clock and 256MB DDR3 memory.

The GeForce 7900 GT adds a 256-bit memory interface, 42.2GB/s memory bandwidth, 10.8 billion pixels-per-second fill rate, 940 vertices-per-second, and 12 pixels per clock.

The top-end GeForce 7900 GTX has a 51.1GB/s memory bandwidth, 512MB memory, 15.6 billion pixels-per-second fill rate, 1400 vertices-per-second, and 12 pixels per clock. All boards have 400MHz RAMDACs.
