TrackStick Gumpack-Size GPS Logger

TrackStick is an innovative and relatively discreet gumpack-size logger which uses GPS technology to keep a watchful eye on shipments, vehicles, personnel, or anything else that moves.

But the really clever feature is that it can plot a graphic map of location, time, routes and speeds using Google Maps.

Using the latest in low power GPS receiver technology, TrackStick records date, time, location, speed, heading and altitude at pre-set intervals configured from PC setup.

Housed in a rugged plastic case, this state-of-the-art logger may be the perfect solution for logging the movement record of an item or person (but note it is illegal to monitor a person’s movement without their permission).

For instance, you could find where your kids have been, stalk verify employee driving routes, review family members driving habits, watch large shipment routes, or know where anything or anyone has been.

A low-cost alternative to real-time tracking devices with monthly airtime fees, TrackStick records location data for later PC retrieval via an integrated USB port. Detailed mapping and 3D satellite imaging reveal exactly where TrackStick has been for the last seven days.

TrackStick offers an economical solution for employers needing to keep track of fleet or parcel movement. No monthly costs are incurred in using this entirely passive tracking device. Free software included integrates with most third-party mapping programs and services like Mapquest.com, VirtualEarth.com, maps.google.com and Microsoft Streets and Trips. High resolution 3D mapping and satellite imaging allows you to follow TrackStick movements - almost anywhere!

The device receives signals from 24 satellites orbiting the earth to precisely calculate its own position anywhere worldwide to within 15 meters. With over 1MB of memory, TrackStick can store lots of travel information at 1 to 15 minute intervals unless stationary. Recorded position history can be output to any PC’s USB port in RTF, XLS, HTML or KML formats.

TrackStick is available now for $249 (£142).
