Creative today announced that the ZEN Vision:M is now available in a 60GB model which can be seen and experienced on the Creative booth (Stand 104) in Hall 2.1a at IFA, Berlin, between 1 to 6 September.

Currently available in a 30GB model, the new ZEN Vision:M with 60GB includes the exciting USB Host feature, which supports the direct download of photos directly from a digital camera without having to go to a PC. It can store up to 240 hours of video or up to 15,000 songs. It easily connects to a TV with the optional video cable so users can share images and videos on the ‘big screen’ with friends and family.

The stylish, versatile design features an advanced high-resolution screen that can display up to an amazing 262,144 colours, ensuring better colour reproduction for a more lifelike experience with movies or stills, while the rechargeable battery delivers playtimes up to 5 hours with video, or up to 16 hours with audio. The ZEN Vision:M supports audio formats WMA (with DRM), MP3 and WAV; video formats MPEG (1/2/4), DivX, XviD and WMV; plus the JPG (JPEG) format for stills. The patented ZEN interface makes the player exceptionally easy to use.

The ZEN Vision W portable video, photo and MP3 player features a high-resolution, 480x272 pixel, 4.3-inch, 16:9 format, colour widescreen TFT display for viewing up to 120 hours of digital video or tens of thousands of photos, and it can carry up to 15,000 songs. Encased in high-quality magnesium, the ZEN Vision W has a built-in Compact Flash slot for directly importing photos from a digital camera.

The ZEN Vision W supports a wide selection of video formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4-SP, MJPEG, DivX 4 and 5 and XviD, for playback of video clips and movies downloaded from the Internet. The removable rechargeable battery provides up to 4.5 hours of video playback.

The ZEN Vision W can carry tens of thousands of digital photos, making it the perfect destination for offloading photos to free up space on a digital camera’s storage card during a vacation. The convenient Plug&View slot on the side of the player supports both Compact Flash Type I and Type II media. An optional Compact Flash Adapter plugs directly into the Compact Flash slot to accept other popular memory card types including SmartMedia, MultiMedia Card and Secure Digital.

For sharing pictures with family and friends, a convenient composite AV-out connection enables full-colour, 720x480-pixel image output on any size TV screen. Users can watch slide shows set to favorite music, which can be played through headphones, the built-in speaker on the face of the player, or by connecting speakers such as a Creative I-Trigue 2.1 system.

The ZEN Vision W supports music subscription services such as Yahoo! Music Unlimited, Napster To Go, Urge and MSN Music. It also supports downloads from Internet music stores such as AOL Music Now, Napster, Yahoo! Music as well as spoken audio from Audible.com. The ZEN Vision W includes a built-in FM radio with 32 preset options.
