The newest Sweex 2 Port FireWire 800 & 1 Port FireWire 400 PCI Card (FW011) offers extremely high transfer speeds for users of digital video cameras, professional audio, external high-speed disks, CD-RW recorders and professional scanners, who need to transport large volumes of data across a FireWire connection.

In addition to a single FireWire 400 standard port (IEEE 1394a), this product also contains two second generation FireWire 800 ports (IEEE 1394b), which are twice as fast as the previous standard.
