Creative has started shipping the ZEN Vision W portable video, photo and MP3 player.
Designed for a compelling movie-watching experience, the widescreen Creative ZEN Vision W features a high-resolution, 4.3-inch, 16:9 format, color TFT display.
The ZEN Vision W supports Amazon Unbox, which offers thousands of television shows, movies and other video content from more than 30 studios and networks.
New releases from major studios, including 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Universal and Warner Bros., and TV shows from A&E, MTV, Fox, PBS and many more networks can be easily downloaded and transferred to the ZEN Vision W. Users can even download television episodes of the original Star Trek, an Amazon Unbox exclusive. Each DVD-quality Amazon Unbox video download for the PC also includes a specially formatted high-quality version for portable players such as the ZEN Vision W.

The ZEN Vision W is available in a 30GB model priced at $299.99 that can carry up to 120 hours of video, or a 60GB model priced at $399.99 that can carry up to 240 hours of video. The 60GB Creative ZEN Vision W can carry up to 240 hours of video. Both the 60GB and 30GB models support a wide selection of video formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4-SP, MJPEG, DivX 4 and 5 and XviD, for playback of video clips and movies downloaded from the Internet. The Creative ZEN Vision W also supports TiVoToGo, for viewing of TV content recorded on a TiVo personal video recorder, and digitized home movies transferred from the PC. The removable rechargeable battery provides up to 4.5 hours of video playback.
The Creative ZEN Vision W can carry tens of thousands of digital photos, making it the perfect destination for offloading photos to free up space on your digital camera's memory card during a vacation. A camera memory card slides easily into the built-in Plug&View Compact Flash slot on the side of the ZEN Vision W, which supports both Compact Flash Type I and Type II media. An optional adapter plugs directly into the Compact Flash slot to accept other popular memory card types including SmartMedia, MultiMedia Card and Secure Digital.
For sharing pictures or video with family and friends, a convenient composite AV-out connection enables stunning full-color, 720 x 480 image output on any size NTSC TV screen, or 720 x 576 image output on any size PAL TV screen. Users can watch slide shows set to favorite music, which can be played through headphones, the built-in speaker on the face of the player, or by connecting speakers such as a Creative I-Trigue(R) 2.1 system.
Featuring up to 14 hours of battery life for music playback and capacity for up to 15,000 songs, the Creative ZEN Vision W supports music subscription services such as Yahoo! Music Unlimited, Napster To Go, Urge and MSN Music. It also supports downloads from Internet music stores such as AOL Music Now, Napster, Yahoo! Music, and Soundbuzz, as well as spoken audio from Audible.com. The Creative ZEN Vision W includes a built-in FM radio that features 32 selectable station settings.
The 4.3-inch color widescreen on the Creative ZEN Vision W displays the patented ZEN user interface to access music, pictures and video.
