Kyocera Launches New ECOSYS Colour Lasers

Kyocera has today launched its latest A4 colour network printers - the FS-C5015N and FS-C5025N.

The FS-C5015N (16 ppm) and FS-C5025N (20 ppm) expand the ECOSYS colour printer portfolio in the 11 to 20 page-per-minute (ppm) segment, and complement the successful FS-C5030N.

The new printers, with PCL6 and Postscript 3, use Kyocera’s proven ECOSYS technology with a long-life drum, developer and fuser to ensure highly reliable, quality colour printing at an attractive cost-per-page.

The FS-C5015N, FS-C5025N and FS-C5030N offer all users, from individuals right up to work groups, access to the proven benefits of colour printing, such as clarity of communication and professional appearance - a must for many businesses. Single-pass technology, prints all four colours (CYMK) onto the page simultaneously, making it equally efficient to print in either black-and-white or colour.

In addition, the monochrome printing costs for the new FS-C5015N and FS-C5025N (0.9 pence and 0.7 pence respectively) remain lower than those for many dedicated mono printers currently available. This means that users can replace their dedicated mono printers with a new Kyocera colour printer without fear of large increases in the cost of their mono printing.

Jonathan Robbins, Product Manager, Kyocera Mita (UK) Ltd, comments: “The new FS-C5015 and FS-C5025 make excellent additions to the Kyocera colour product range. With an attractive cost-per-page (CPP), long life components and proven Kyocera ECOSYS technology, they can be integrated seamlessly into any office environment.”

The FS-C5025N offers a cost-per-page of 0.7p for a monochrome print and 3.97p for a colour print while the FS-C5015 offers 0.9p for mono and 5.1p colour. These calculations are based on page coverage of 5 per cent for monochrome and 20 per cent for colour (4x 5 per cent). Other new features also include the addition of codes that can be assigned to departments, allowing access to colour and quantity of colour printing to be controlled effectively.

The FS-C5015N and FS-C5025N will be available from November for £595 and £756 (ex. VAT), respectively.
