ASC and Bila Trading (Warsaw) Implement Archiving Solution |
|
ASC (http://www.asctelecom.com), a leading provider of communications recording and quality monitoring solutions for contact centers, financial institutions, public safety and government organizations, today announced the implementation of new archiving capacity through the use of DBLAN software, developed by ASCs partner in Poland, Bila Trading (http://www.bila.pl).
DBLAN, based on the open search-and-replay Application Programmer Interface (API), expands the features of ASCs communications recorder, MARATHON EVOLUTION, by sharing and integrating data between ASC's systems and its clients, and by providing the customer with increased call backup.
The software, installed on any remote PC, transfers all recorded calls and converts the files into WAV and then mp3 format. By doing so, it saves a huge amount of space on the users hard drive. A graphical user interface allows convenient scheduling for transfer of the audio files, with no additional software required.
Guenther Mueller, Chairman and CEO of ASC, said, Bila Trading and their breakthrough software, demonstrate the power of our partnerships around the globe. By selecting top companies in their respective countries, we are building valuable assets for our own growth and development.
Kristofer Gajos, President of Bila Trading, Warsaw, noted, Some of our Polish customers, especially financial institutions, need additional backup for calls recorded on their own LAN PC. By offering DBLAN, we fulfil their requirements. The software helps users archive and search for calls via date, time and channel number, and employs the standard Win Media Player for replay.
For example, a bank in Cracov, Poland, recently installed ASCs MARATHON EVOLUTION in its brokers office to monitor performance and service quality.
Bila Trading developed and integrated the recording solution into the offices IT infrastructure, based on Aspect technology.
With more than 20 agents in the office, the bank handled approximately 800 calls per day. It needed additional archiving of the calls on a remote LAN PC in mp3 format but with easy access in the everyday working environment. The ASC and Bila Trading system achieved their goals while keeping the original recordings and archives in the banks safe.
ASCs MARATHON EVOLUTION, an advanced communications-recording system, ensures order accuracy and regulatory compliance for financial institutions.
As the worlds first Linux recorder, it provides a built-in firewall and is ideally suited to TCP/IP operation and SQL databases. The product records all incoming messages by phone, VoIP or screen pop. Its layered architecture fits well with a firm's existing infrastructure, allows free-seating access and offers stand-alone recording or connection to a central server for multiple locations. MARATHON EVOLUTION also includes browser-based applications for search and replay and DVD or AIT for archives as options.
