Connection Manager Pro is a low-cost laptop connectivity management tool designed to automate the creation and management of security and connectivity settings for multiple access points. Developed by BVRP and distributed in the UK by Avanquest, Connection Manager Pro claims to enable you to automatically detect, configure and connect to any available wired or wireless network wherever you may be.
Through an automatic detection module, Connection Manager Pro should find all available network connections and inform you of the quality and security level in the signal received. The automatic mode will select the best network based on your established priorities. If manual mode is selected, choices are provided so you can choose to ensure the optimal connection. The Connection Wizard also includes predefined settings for all major mobile phone operators across 170 countries, giving you a wide range of connectivity choices.
'Today's business executives and professionals expect 24/7 connectivity wherever they may be and don't want the hassles usually associated with configuring and managing the profiles for multiple access points,' said Bob Lang, president, BVRP Software Mobility Products. 'Connection Manager Pro provides the solution by hiding all the complexity behind a powerful management tool that automates network configuration, streamlining control and enhancing security for business and professional travellers.'
Connection Manager Pro offers an unlimited number of available profiles, enabling you to create and save a profile each time a connection to a new network is made. Each profile contains and keeps the connection settings for future use including network types and default printers. When a profile previously saved, or a new network configuration is completed, Connection Manager Pro sets all necessary parameters, including security, IP and e-mail settings.
