With the HD160 ($279) Zalman is expanding its product range.

The HTPC enclosure is made of high quality 100 per cent brushed aluminium and aims to deliver a good balance between cooling and noise generation.

It also has support for full size ATX motherboards, and comes with a VFD display and Windows Media Center remote control. The enclosure is available in black or silver, should you have a design preference.

The HD160 is designed for ultra quiet home theatre PC operation, utilising optimised ventilation and anti-vibration reinforcements, making it ideal for home entertainment in silent operation.

It sports a high-end audio look, built-in Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD), built-in MCE compatible IR module, and ATX PSU and ATX/mATX motherboard compatibility.

I/O ports and card reader (included) are conveniently located in the front panel, and there are three 3.5-inch internal bays for HDDs.

Multiple air inlets adjacent to all major heat-generating components facilitate optimised ventilation and cooling, there are vibration isolation grommets, support for up to four hard disk drives and two 80mm exhaust fans.
