MEGA International and FileNet to offer business process |
|
In its drive to help enterprises accelerate the adoption of business process automation - based on optimised organisation and value chains - MEGA International, today announced the integration of its MEGA Suite with the IBM FileNet P8 product line.
The integrated solution leverages MEGA International's cutting edge business process analysis (BPA) solutions and the market-leading FileNet P8 platform, providing business analysts, decision makers, and IT stakeholders with a seamless process automation factory from process discovery to process integration, monitoring, and control.
"The integration of MEGA Suite with FileNet P8 enables customers to analyse the impacts of business changes before automation, and our clients attest this can save substantial amounts of time and dramatically leverage business process
management (BPM) suite investments," said Jean-Marie Zirano, vice president of Business Development at MEGA International.
"Business managers in global organisations such as major insurers and banks want to reduce the cycle time to improve customer service, productivity and compliance," said Martyn Christian, vice president of Content Management Marketing at IBM. "FileNet has responded to this market demand by introducing full support for XPDL in our BPM modelling capability. MEGA's integration to FileNet P8 allows our joint
customers to leverage their existing investment in technology and benefit from an end-to-end BPM solution that helps them exceed their service, profit, and performance goals."
"AXA France has invested substantial time and effort in designing important business process changes with the MEGA design suite," said Pascal Buffard, General Manager at AXA France Services. "We also rely heavily on FileNet content-centric BPM to automate mission-critical business processes to better serve our customers.
The new ability to export our MEGA process models directly into the FileNet P8 platform offers us a great opportunity to reduce our application design time, the time required to introduce important business process changes, and our business costs while striving to offer the best customer service in the industry. We welcome this BPM innovation from both companies and their cooperation on creating standards."
FileNet P8 is a reliable, scalable, and highly available enterprise platform that enables customers to capture, store, manage, secure and process information to increase operational efficiency and lower total cost of ownership (TCO). FileNet provides a BPM suite that increases process performance, reduces cycle times, and improves organisational productivity by automating, streamlining, and optimising
complex processes to manage the flow of work throughout an enterprise.
MEGA's business process analysis (BPA) and enterprise architecture (EA) solutions help reduce risks, manage change, and increase efficiency by identifying best practices, assessing the potential impacts of 'what if' scenarios, and speeding up projects through reuse of vital corporate information. MEGA provides an enterprise repository in which managers can view, maintain, and optimise the business
processes and enterprise architecture.
The FileNet/MEGA integrated solution will be demonstrated at the MEGA Europe Forum in Paris on November 28, 2006.
