CoolIT Systems USB Beverage Chiller

CoolIT System’s USB Beverage Chiller ($39.95) is the only way to keep your drink cold while you’re at your computer (or PlayStation or Xbox 360), short of actually getting off your arse and walking over to the fridge.

And it should look cool on any desktop! This has to be the next must-have computer accessory.

Just seconds after plugging the chiller into your computer’s USB port (no external outlet needed), the coldplate chills to 45 degrees Fahrenheit, the perfect temperature for keeping your beverage chilled.

It isn’t really meant to cool off a warm soda (although it will chill a warm beverage over time). It’s really designed to keep a cold beverage cold to the last drop. It works with either USB 1.1 or 2.0. It works with any operating system (or anything with a USB port for that matter). No drivers are required.

How easy is it to install? You put it on a flat surface, plug it into a USB port, and put your drink on it. That’s it. No other cables or batteries. It draws 1.2-Amps and a scant 5.7-Watts from the USB port.

Apparently, the USB Beverage Chiller was created as a promotional vehicle to help promote CoolIT Systems as the experts in thermoelectric cooling for its PC and game console cooling products. More information about the product can be viewed here.
