Art. Lebedev Studio Cordless Cursor Mouse

This is plain crazy. The Mus2 (£22.99/$40) is a literally shaped device for all you cursor-jockeys out there.

Art. Lebedev Studio’s Mus2 cordless optical two-button mouse controls the cursor on the screen and looks like one. And if that’s not novel enough, the black or white body is made from nice dull plastic that feels like thick suede to touch.

There’s a power indicator housed in the mouse handle lights up only when a battery needs to be replaced or a rechargeable battery is low. And despite the fact that some people find its form unusual, the company claims that the Mus2 fits neatly in hand like a normal mouse and doesn’t cause any discomfort.

Based on the company’s 2005 concept, the Mus2 is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X, and requires a USB connection for the receiver.

It has an operating range of up to 2 meters and frame speed of up to 2300fps. Its optical sensor resolution 800dpi can be bettered for gamers. Juice comes in the way of two AAA rechargeable or non-rechargeable batteries.
