Delivering business demands for increased computing power on the go, Dells brand new Latitude D620 and Latitude D820 feature the power of Intels Core Duo processors and the flexibility of optional wireless broadband technology.
With a starting weight of 1.9kg, the Latitude D620 includes an Intel Core Duo T2300 processor and a 14.1-inch widescreen XGA (1024x768-pixel) display. The $1149 (£661) base configuration includes 512MB shared DDR2 memory, 40GB SATA hard disk drive and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi capability.
A base configuration for the Latitude D820 (starting weight 2.5kg) is $1289 (£745) and includes an Intel Core Duo T2300 processor with a 15.4-inch widescreen XGA display, 512MB DDR2 shared memory, 40GB SATA hard disk drive and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi capability. Advanced upgrade options for the D820 include nVidias Quadro NVS 120M business graphics solution with 512MB memory, high-resolution WUXGA (1920x1200-pixel) display and 120GB hard disk drive.
Available now, the D620 and D820 feature Intel Core Duo processors and are fully compatible with Latitude laptop accessories shipped since 2003 including docking stations, optical drives and power adapters. Adhering to Dells Design for the Environment program, both new systems meet the requirements of the European Unions Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive.
