Sony Funky Optical Wireless Mouse

The SMU-WM10 is Sony’s all new, simple-designed optical wireless mouse.

The neatest feature of the unique input device is that it features a flat and slim outfitdesign and the reception unit can be stored inside the mouse to reduce space use.

With a reception range of just 1 metre, the mouse sports a power on/off switch and is available in three different colours. Power comes in the way of a single alkaline battery, which should last around 2.5 months under heavy use.

The mouse uses a frequency of 27mHz and has a resolution of 800 pixels-per-inch.
It connects you your computer via USB, has two buttons, and doesn’t require any drivers for systems running Windows.

The SMU-WM10 measures 58x18x86mm, weighs 70g, and is available now for $57 (£35). While it certainly looks good and the concealed mouse buttons are really neat (think Apple's Mighty Mouse), it hardly looks the most ergonomic input device.
