Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5
 
Shuttle, the leading manufacturer of really small computers (also known as Small Form Factor PCs) and accessories, has announced the launch of the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5.

The latest barebone from Shuttle is designed for home users and is compatible with Intel’s Viiv technology and combines pure multimedia bliss with the performance of a high-end SFF PC.

Features of the XPC SD36G5 include support for high-definition audio and video content allowing you to enjoy your favourite movies, TV shows, and music with high-quality images and sound, as well as Gigabit LAN.

Easy access USB and Firewire ports allowing plug-and-play/easy share connectivity with your digital camera, portable music player, VoIP phone, and other digital devices.

The Shuttle XPC SD36G5 incorporates Shuttle’s exclusive and patented SilentX technology. The G5 chassis design also features a highly efficient power supply unit (PSU) and Shuttle’s ICE cooling system. The SD36G5 supports standard desktop components, such as Pentium 4 and Pentium D processors, PCI-E graphics cards, optical drives and DDR2 memory.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5 will be available soon from a Shuttle reseller. A price is not yet available.
