All Bling, No Ring, The New Commuter Rage!

A new survey released today reveals that commuters biggest phone gripe is listening to music on a speaker phone.

The survey by JustRingRing.com found that an incredible 44% of commuters say that music from phones is now more irritating than the previous top frustration, crazy mobile ringtones.

Second in the annoyance stakes were people talking loudly into a phone (24%) followed by those annoying ringtones still chosen by 22% of commuters as top of their mobile rage list.

The survey was commissioned by JustRingRing.com to coincide with the launch of its ringtone download service that delivers simple un-annoying ringtones for those who might not quite be ready for a crazy frog!

The recent fashion to play music out loud seems to be a return to the 80s, when large, loud music players were carried around. The advancement of mobile technology has allowed this fashion to return...with the added annoyance that this time the batteries last longer.

The race is now on to solve the new top hate "We have the ringtone problem solved so now we are going to work on the speaker phone problem" said Jon Slinn MD, JustRingRing.com. "Maybe ultimately we can create personal volume control!"

JustRingRing.com is a mobile startup firm which addresses the need for simple usable mobile content and ringtones. The service can be found at www.justringring.com. The survey was carried out through November 2006 through e-mail, the firm’s Web site and a number of on street questionnaires. In total 344 people were questioned.
