eema Confirms Poland as Host Nation for ISSE 2007 Conference |

Today in Rome at the ISSE (Information Security Solutions Europe) 2006 conference, eema, the independent European association for e-business and owners of ISSE revealed that Warsaw, Poland will be the host nation for ISSE 2007, 25th 27th September. The announcement follows the most successful ISSE conference to date, with more than 350 delegates from 35 countries taking part in over 70 panel debates, discussions and workshops discussing the opportunities, challenges, and progress that is being made in information security internationally.
Highlights for ISSE 2006 delegates have included keynotes from best selling author, founder and CTO of Counterpane Internet Security Inc, Bruce Schneier, who introduced four core principles of economics in IT (The network effect; High fixed costs, Low marginal costs; Switching costs and the market for lemons) and Michael Howard of Microsoft who gave delegates exclusive insight into the security challenges and functionality of the forthcoming operating system, Microsoft Vista.
