ASUS’ motherboard shipment reached a total of 52 million units in 2005, which is pretty sweet by anyone’s standard. Yet at CeBIT 2006 the company is to showcase even more of its latest platforms.

First up is the P5B Deluxe motherboard. Based on Intel’s Broadwater chipset, the Intel Conroe CPU ready and DDR2 800 enabled mainboard is designed with ASUS’ 8-Phase Power and plenty of silent features among Intel platforms. The P5B Deluxe features Intel P965 chipset for cutting-edge performance and ADI Ad1988B SoundMax for high audio definition.

It supports Intel LGA 775 processors, has an Intel P965/ICH8R chipset, and supports 1066/800/533MHz front-side bus. DDR2 800/667/533MHz (Dual Channel) memory is supported up to 8GB, and there’s two x16 PCI Express slots for dual-card gaming. Other features of the ATX board include SATA support up to 3Gbit/s (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10), 8-channel audio and dual Gigabit LAN.
