Plustek Flatbed ADF Scanners
 
Plustek has today launched the PL1200 and PL3000 ADF scanners for busy offices.

The Plustek PL1200 and PL3000 ADF scanners, which can be used as regular flatbed scanners, have an advanced design built to minimise paper jams while offering a large image focus.

Equipped with a feeder capacity that can handle up to 80 pages and the facility to accommodate wider paper (up to 9.65²), which is useful when scanning continuous computer paper, the PL1200 and for PL3000 ADF scanners are priced at £410 and £1000 respectively.

The new ADF scanners offer the same features, but the PL1200 offers scanning capability of up to 12ppm and the PL3000 scans up to 30ppm. Both models handle documents ranging from nine cm by 11.5cm (3.55² by 4.5²) to 24.5- by 35.5 cm (9.65² by 14²).

Key features include a proficient mechanical design to gain better image focus and minimise paper jams, durable ADF pad and feed module, longer life cycle, paper tray accommodates wider paper, as well as Readiris Corporate Edition text editing software bundled.

It also supports recognition of up to 116 languages, batch OCR handling (can be saved individually or in one single file), scan to searchable PDF function, as well as ADF and flatbed operation.
