SilentWheel Mini Reduces Projector Noise

Unaxis Optics, the global leader in optical component solutions for projection displays, has announced the innovative SilentWheel Mini.

SilentWheel Mini joins the Unaxis Optics ColorWheel line-up and is ideal for use in small front projector applications.

SilentWheel Mini is used for any sequential colour management in multimedia projection systems such as Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology. It fascinates by its superior noise reduction - a feature especially appreciated in consumer products.

On top of the great improvements in noise reduction, its high quality level at a very good price-benefit ratio is guaranteed. The SilentWheel Mini will meet the complex requirements for sound, lifetime, and cost sensitivity for a wide range of small front projection system programs.

Unaxis Optics also offers an extensive portfolio of various configurations for other SilentWheel Mini applications. The SilentWheel Mini offers many additional benefits compared to the standard smaller application ColorWheel platform, claims the company, including lower sound levels, longer lifetime, increased durability and cost reduction.

The SilentWheel Mini is manufactured utilising high precision and state of the art equipment, says the company. It incorporates all the features of a standard small application ColorWheel including conformance with a variety of customer applications such as segment angle, segment quantity, and filter spectral parameters, and patented sputtering technology (US 5,292,417) for industry leading filter performance.
